The Major Gift AI System

Build the AI system that will support your major gift work for the next decade.

Build a major gift portfolio supported by AI, so you can research prospects, prepare for visits, write proposals, and follow up faster without making the work feel less personal.

The Real Question

How does AI fit into my major gift work?

You're already doing strong major gift work.
You're identifying new prospects, cultivating existing relationships, and making the ask. But so much of your day gets eaten up in admin work and rinse-and-repeat emails, and while you keep hearing that AI is going to revolutionize your work, nobody's shown you anything beyond how to draft an appeal letter with it. Ughhh!
So it's not actually making you faster or more effective at the part of the job that matters most: cultivating and maintaining relationships with people capable of transformative gifts.
What you've been offered so far, quite frankly, stinks:
Star Bullet
a subscription to another platform
Star Bullet
a $20,000 annual add-on to your CRM
Star Bullet
or somebody teaching you AI theory that's completely disconnected from the work you actually do.
Expensive Subscriptions
What's missing is somebody showing you exactly how AI fits into the work in front of you
Star Bullet
Identifying your next prospect
Star Bullet
Preparing for a donor visit
Star Bullet
Preparing a complicated, high-stakes proposal
Star Bullet
Reaching out in a way that actually gets responses
Nobody has given you a system.
And nobody has met you inside the actual work you do every day.
You don't need to become an AI expert. You need to know exactly how to use it, in the portfolio you already manage, starting this week.

Your Real Tension

You've tried AI.
It just hasn't turned into a system... yet.

Decorative Burst
You've tried ChatGPT with good intentions, typed one prompt, and closed the tab twenty minutes later with nothing to show for it.
Decorative Burst
You've got a bookmarked list of "AI prompts for fundraisers" you've opened exactly once.
Decorative Burst
Half your team is using AI under the radar, and you genuinely don't know what any of them are typing into it, or what donor information is going along with it.
You know there's a faster way to research a prospect, prep for a visit, or draft a proposal. You just haven't had a free thirty minutes to figure out what it actually looks like.
Decorative Burst
That's not a you problem. It's a nobody's-shown-you-yet problem, and there's a real difference between the two.

Somebody was already figuring this out,

before AI Went Mainstream

Keith Greer at laptop
Keith Greer, CFRE, was building AI workflows into major gift fundraising inside an R1 research university, back when these tools were still new to the public.
Not as an experiment on the side. As part of running a real portfolio, with real prospects, real proposals, and a real campaign number riding on it.
That's the actual difference between what you've been offered so far and what's here. A CRM vendor selling a $20,000 add-on has never sat across from a donor with a gift agreement on the table.
Teaching AI is very different from using it while managing a live campaign with millions of dollars at stake.
Keith has. At one organization, he built a custom prospect model that narrowed 150,000 records down to a focused list of 300. The resulting campaign raised $4.2 million against a $3 million goal.
Every system in this program comes from that same place: real donor work, refined inside an actual portfolio, not a lab or a slide deck.
"Keith knows our business. He's a frontline fundraiser. He's not looking at it from the outside. He's actually been a fundraiser and he uses this in his own work. That authenticity is really meaningful."
Erin Cleghorn, Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Meredith College
Every workflow you'll learn inside this program has already been tested inside a real major gift portfolio. Not created for a classroom.

More than a tool.

A Coach that walks every donor relationship with you.

Keith Greer mentoring fundraiser
By the end of six months, you'll have a complete system for how AI supports every stage of major gift work, from identifying your top prospects to deepening the relationship after the gift closes.
One system each month, for six months, so every process gets built into your real portfolio before the next one starts.

System 1: Prospect Identification

From overwhelmed to strategically focused
Build a custom scoring model using the signals that actually matter in your organization, not generic wealth rankings or RFM scores. Go from thousands of names to a focused, defensible prospect list.

You'll go from: relying on instinct or outdated scores.
To: a clear, repeatable system for identifying who truly belongs in your major gift work.

What changes: Each week, you open your portfolio already knowing exactly who you need to start reaching out
to. No more guessing, no more defaulting to whoever emailed last.

System 2: Prospect Qualification & Outreach

From spinning your wheels to confident engagement

Build a three-part system: an AI-assisted donor research process, a donor brief format your whole team can use consistently, and a 90-day multi-channel outreach sequence. You'll go from: one email, then waiting and hoping. To: a system that creates a natural, consistent path to a real conversation. What changes: Instead of sending one message and hoping, you have a sequence already built, so outreach keeps happening whether or not you had time to think about it that day.

System 3: Donor Meetings & Conversations

From uncertain to strategic

Build a donor conversation system: a meeting strategy framework, a way to practice the harder conversations beforehand, and a process for capturing what happened in the visit before you leave the parking lot. You'll go from: hoping the meeting goes well. To: leading every conversation with clarity and intention. What changes: You walk into the visit with a clear objective already set, and the contact report is finished before you're back in the car.

System 4: Portfolio Intelligence & Performance

From doubt to clarity

Build a system that evaluates your activity and your team's, shows what's moving, surfaces the gaps, and prepares you for leadership or board conversations before they happen. You'll go from: wondering if the work is paying off. To: knowing exactly where things stand, with the data to back it up. What changes: Before your next 1:1 or board update, you already know exactly where your portfolio stands, instead of piecing it together on the fly.

System 5: Proposals & Asks

From friction to compelling

Build a system that turns messy thinking into a clear proposal, flat writing into a compelling one, and high volume into something manageable, all while keeping gift agreements clean and compliant. You'll go from: struggling to articulate the ask. To: presenting opportunities donors want to say yes to. What changes: A complicated, high-stakes proposal that used to take you a week now takes an afternoon, and reads better than the version you would have agonized over.

System 6: Stewardship & Relationship Expansion

From transactional to transformational

Build a donor experience system: a way to translate program impact into stories that land, a structured plan for the first 180 days after a gift, and a strategy for turning a first gift into a lasting relationship. You'll go from: generic, inconsistent follow-up. To: a donor experience that makes people want to give again. What changes: The next gift that comes in already has its first 180 days mapped out, instead of stewardship becoming an afterthought once the excitement wears off.

Six months from now, this isn't six separate skills you picked up. It's one system, and it's exactly how you'll onboard the next person who joins your team.

Fundraisers feel the difference.

And so do their donors.

"Your organization went from an obligation I felt I had to honor my brother's passing, to one of the top three charities that are important to me and my husband."

Here's what fundraisers say...

"This made my productivity skyrocket. Keith didn't just teach us how to write a report, he showed us how to build, develop, and sustain the relationship. It's laser-focused on what actually moves things forward, and it cuts out everything else that's just noise."
Lani Weigert, Community Relations Manager
Hawai'i Care Choices
"Your course was interactive. You showed us not only how to write the prompt, but what the results were, how to modify them, how to actively do it ourselves. And you gave us the framework. It wasn't just slides. It was us doing it together."

Who is this built for?

This is for you if:

Star Bullet
You're a major gift officer or advancement leader who already has the fundamentals. You're not here to learn what AI is, you're here for the system that finally makes it worth using in the work you already do well.
Star Bullet
You want your team applying AI with shared judgment and guardrails, instead of everyone experimenting with donor information on their own.
Star Bullet
You're ready to build this into your real portfolio starting with your first module, not shelve it for someday.
Star Bullet
You want a system substantial enough to bring to your president or your board as proof of responsible, strategic leadership.
Star Bullet
You're results-oriented, not effort-oriented. You don't want credit for trying. You want a portfolio, proposals, and closed gifts that speak for themselves, plus a system your board and leadership can trust.

This was not designed for you if:

Star Bullet
You're looking for a shortcut around the relationship-building at the center of major gift work.
Star Bullet
You want AI making the decisions instead of sharpening your own judgment.
Star Bullet
You're not currently working inside major gift fundraising in some capacity.
Star Bullet
You want a finished system handed to you, without ever learning to run it yourself.
Star Bullet
You're not open to a second opinion on your own strategy, even from something built to give you one. If you're already certain you have this figured out, there's nothing here for you to gain.

FAQ

  • Not at all. This program was built for fundraisers who know AI is important, but haven't had the time or guidance to really learn how to use it yet.

Each module starts by grounding you in the "why" behind the work, so you understand what you're building and how it fits into your fundraising strategy. From there, we move into a step-by-step build where you can follow the process, see how each system comes together, and watch it work in practice.

And just as important, nothing here requires coding or technical expertise. If you can type a search into Google, you already have everything you need to succeed.

  • I get it. Most fundraisers I work with are already juggling a full plate, and the last thing you need is something else that feels overwhelming.

This program is entirely self-paced. One module releases each month, so you're never buried under all six at once, and you move through each one on your own schedule, whenever your week actually allows for it.

If you're in the VIP program, you'll also get a private coaching call each month that you schedule yourself, so it fits into your calendar instead of the other way around.

  • For the most part, you'll be working with tools you likely already have: your CRM, a spreadsheet like Excel or Google Sheets, a word processor like Word or Google Docs, and an account with an AI platform like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or Grok.

I teach the program using ChatGPT, but the workflows we build can be recreated in any of these platforms. The names and layouts may look a little different, but the underlying approach stays the same, so you're not locked into one specific tool.

If you can, I do recommend using a paid AI account, since it often comes with stronger privacy controls and better performance. Many platforms offer nonprofit pricing, so you can choose what fits your organization best. And as with any tool, it's worth checking with your IT team to make sure you're aligned with your organization's data and privacy policies.

  • It's a smart question, and an important one. Fundraising is built on trust, and anything involving donor data deserves careful attention.

The short answer is that AI tools can be used responsibly, but the level of security depends on the platform you choose and how your organization configures it. Most major AI providers now offer plans with strong privacy protections, including options that prevent your data from being used to train future models. Before using any tool, I always recommend checking with your IT team to make sure it aligns with your organization's policies and standards.

Inside the program, I'll also show you how to take an extra layer of precaution by cleaning or anonymizing data before using it, so you can still get the benefit of these tools without putting sensitive information at risk.

  • It's a fair question. AI does have an environmental footprint, and that's something I take seriously.

At the same time, the full scope of that impact is still being studied, and a lot of the numbers you may see online lack consistent context or clear comparisons. What we do know is that AI is becoming part of how work gets done across sectors, including nonprofits.

My approach is to stay informed, use these tools thoughtfully, and focus on helping fundraisers apply them in ways that are responsible and aligned with their values. If using AI doesn't feel right for you or your organization, that's a valid choice. This program is here to support you if and when you decide it is.

  • Many of the leaders I work with go through the program themselves first, then use it to build a shared framework and onboarding process for their team. If you're considering this for your whole team, reach out to me directly and we can talk through what that looks like for your organization.

  • The Core program gives you the complete system, all six modules, the templates, and the prompts, at your own pace. The VIP program includes everything in Core, plus a private coaching call with me every month for six months, scheduled on your own calendar, so you're applying each system directly to your own portfolio in real time.

  • If you come in, do the work, and genuinely feel like the program didn't deliver on what you needed, I want you to feel taken care of.

You'll have the opportunity to go through the first module and start applying what you're learning. If after that you decide it's not the right fit, you can request a refund within 14 days of enrolling. I'll ask you to share the work you completed so I can see how you approached it and continue improving the program.

This is designed for fundraisers who are ready to engage and put these tools into practice. If you're willing to show up and give it a real effort, you can enroll knowing there's a clear path to step back if it's not what you expected.

Your donors deserve your best work.

This is how you build it.

Enrollment is open now, and it stays open. There's no cohort to wait for and no deadline to catch. Start today, and your first module begins immediately.

Six months from now, you'll either still be piecing this together on your own, or you'll have an AI system that makes every donor strategy, visit, and proposal faster, sharper, and easier to personalize.
